As for every American oversees, It is very simple if you are traveling oversees that is your decision, and I would never suggest that people should stay in the country. That being said you have to know the risks of leaving the country though. I remember a few years ago my family and I went on a trip to Rio.(I know the economy sucks and thinking about vacations right now is hard but I highly recommend Brazil, it is beautiful) We knew full well that there was incredible amounts crime that occured in the favellas and did not expect our military to bail us out if we got into trouble.
