ROCKLAND, Maine — A 19-year-old St. George man died from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound around 9 p.m. Sunday, according to police reports.

Rockland police received reports of multiple shots fired in the Brewster Street area.

Sgt. Don Finnegan said other people were in the area, but that there were no other reported injuries. Finnegan said the man’s name could not be released because the next of kin had not yet been notified.

Details about the shooting also were not being released Monday.

The case remains under investigation.

I pulled a stray bullet from my gutter yesterday, noticed water leaking from it and saw a nice little hole.

Went up and found the bullet. Luckly it only went through the first half of the gutter.

It looks like it came from a 223.

I guess it must of been on the far end of it's range.

"apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound", but "reports of multiple shots fired" ....

Coverup and corruption. Pick a badge number.
