Teen killed in I-95 crash in New Hampshire
Canaan, Maine, man escapes unhurt
SEABROOK, N.H. — A teenager was killed and two others were injured Friday when their pickup truck collided with a tractor trailer on Interstate 95, crossed a grass median and flipped over before stopping.
New Hampshire State Police said the vehicle driven by 18-year-old Brandon Petit, of Raymond, N.H., cut in front of a tractor trailer while trying to get off at Exit 1 on Friday evening. The pickup and the truck driven by 43-year-old Neil Swain, of Canaan, Maine, collided, and the pickup was sent across the median.
Police say a 15-year-old male passenger in the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 13-year-old girl was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. Petit was transported to Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, Mass., with non-life threatening injuries. Swain was not injured.
Police say the accident is being investigated.
