Police: Lisbon woman held against her will

By The Associated Press

LISBON — A Maine woman tells police she was sexually assaulted and held against her will for two-and-a-half days in a mobile home in Lisbon.

Police Chief David Brooks says officers were called to the home Wednesday by a woman who said she had been held at her home against her will since Sunday. He says the woman dialed 911 after she managed to escape to a neighbor’s home.

Authorities say the woman reported that she arrived at home Sunday to find three men waiting for her. One of the men is accused of holding her at gunpoint. The state police tactical squad responded Wednesday and took the men into custody.

Are you serious?? Did this woman know the men?? This is really scary. Maine is suppose to be the "safe state"...now it sounds like its turning out to be like every other state...Thank God she escaped!!
