Voters to fill vacant seat in Maine House

By The Associated Press

FARMINGTON, Maine — Voters are heading to the polls in a special election to fill a House of Representatives seat left vacant after Janet Mills was chosen as Maine’s new attorney general.

Residents of Farmington and Industry will cast ballots Tuesday to fill the House District 89 seat.

The candidates are Democrat Dennis Haszko and Republican Lance Harvell, both of Farmington.

No matter who wins, Democrats will maintain a sizable majority in the Legislature.

t's not the stupidity, Stupid! What the hell does that mean? I ran into Professor Johnny Frary outside the Farmington polls today. I asked him who he thought was the best candidate to fill Janet Mills seat in the State Leg.. Professor Johnny told me "Lance Harvell is the stupidest man in Franklin county for voting for & supporting me in my campaign against Michael Michaud for Congress. I did not stand an 'popsicle chance in hell' and neither does Lance, I can identify with him!"

I asked my home heating oil specialist and self appointed 'angry republican spokesperson' for Franklin County who he thought was the best candidate to fill Janet's seat. He said: "Lance Harvell is the smartest man in Franklin County for running against Janet Mills for so long. She is a communist & godless tax-raiser, and has no business running our government with the Democratic agenda she represents: fairness, funding critical social programs, protecting land owner rights, supporting fish and wildlife initiatives, who does she think she is? If we don't vote down that type of mindset, the next thing you know, we will have an afro-american president, and we can't afford that!"

I took the advice of these two great men and supported Lance with my vote!

Remember the little people, Lance, you are GREATNESS personified, or at least a cute little pimple on the a** of two great men I always take my political advice from!

don't vote a republican in, we have enough of those toe tappers around the countryside already....
