No the bail is not 2500 hundred. If you watched the news it is 10000. I am friends with both Phil and Josh and have knowen them longer then anyone else in maine. I just wish everyone would stop with the storys. If you do not know the facts you should not say a thing. I have hurd both sides of the story. Josh was at my house just min befor this whole thing went down., and no it dose not make any sence josh and phile have been best friends for like 16 yrs. They grew up together like brothers. But it did not envolve drugs and it proberbly would not have happened if they were not drinking. Its a tarrable thing., and has effected my family alot. I am just happy that josh is alive and breathing on his own now. All we can do now is hope for the best. It is really to bad that something like this had to happen. As for more rehabs and better schools, as far as I know only one of these people is even a REAL county person. The others moved in from away. So our schools aren't the issue, although I agree we need something here. There is nothing for young people to do so they turn to drugs and booze. Sad.

hasn't anyone ever been out with a "best friend" drinking and something was said to set the other one off, i know i've seen it a million times....i know both of the people involved and know that one of them is the most caring person in the world that would do anything for anyone, (he can loose his cool just like everyone else,) the other has had a hell of a time for the last 2 years dealing with personal stuff alcohol and bad tempers get the best of people all the time, I will gladly stand up and say that 99.9% of the time they are like brothers and both stick around for the same female for a reason, one of them is her fiance and the other is there best friend, ....yeah people do decide to go home and go to bed after a party, all it takes is one person to wake up another with some kind of BS coming out of there mouth....holding something inther hand to set the other one off, i feel for the woman of he house and the children, he never should have stabbed him, but the question is why would someone be sleeping and the next thing is they are stabbing their best friend, another one is what the hell was said or done to make such a gentle giant to go off, anyone that knows the parties involved would wounder the same.....sassey24, you know what happened and you were awesome to have the baby, let people say what they want, they are gonna anyway...I am just glad that the babies were taken care of and that noone else got hurt, these best friends are gonna have to deal with the regret of drinking and the consequences of it for the rest of their lives.....amazing how one thing said can set someone off to the point that they pulled a knife, obviously the smaller party is gonna end up with worse wounds, that was just plain dumb to have a knife around...

No the kids are not being removed from the home. I know for a fact. Amber is a good mother and when the insadent occured the children were not at home they were both being taken care of. Also i assure you the children are very safe. As i said befor this is just something that shouldnt have happened, but did. Now all we as the family ask is for your prayers for joshua. He dosnt need all this drama. All he needs to do is fight and get well so he can be home with his children who miss him very much.

I think AA and parental classes need to be taken. If you are a family with children, Why are you out partying at all? but further more why on a Monday night? Don't we have jobs ? take care of our children? I pray that this is a turning point to better their lives & continued prayers for the family.

Of course they (most likely) don't have jobs. That would mean they had graduated high school. I think that mastering the art of speaking and writing the english language is a requirement for a high school diploma.

I agree that the children are the ones who need the prayers. They apparently don't have any positive role models in their lives at this point. Hopefully DHS will use that budget of theirs to help these kids, and give them some hope for their future.

That is true neither of them had much to drink. So no it wasnt the alchole. It was just something traggic that happened. They have already been investigated by DHS and they do not see anything wrong with there parenting. What I don't understand is the bail??????? My son is in Jail being charged with Agravated Traffacing and his bail is $100,000 security, or $50,000 cash, and he had nothing to do with the death, or intended for anyone to die, and this Phil guy had the weapon in his hand wanting to kill the victom and his bail is only for $2,500 or $10,000. Something just not right here. And by the way my son is inacent, we just haven't been able to find a good lawyer to do what needs to be done yet.

I think we should take all the drug dealers, murderers, child abusers, etc. Drop them all off in a FAR AWAY place where they couldn't walk back and let them fend for themselves. Make their own little community. They'll eventually kill each other off and it wouldn't cost us anything except for the gas to bring them there. There is no hold up for gettin my BA. I am currently in school and will soon have it. Just takes determanation. Which i have. Josh is doin good too he had surgury againe and they are keepin him on the resporator this time but he understands everyone when they talk to him. His whole family is up here from North carolina.
