HERMON – Blair Mahan and Ryan Scripture, both of Hermon, are pleased to announce their engagement. Blair is the daughter of Paul and Carla Mahan of Hermon and Philip and Kim McGeoghegan of Carmel. She is a 2001 graduate of Hermon High School and is working toward a degree in the medical field. She is employed with Cardiothoracic Surgery of Maine at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Ryan is the son of Lloyd and Joyce Scripture of Hermon. He is a 1998 graduate of Hermon High School and earned a degree in machine tool from Eastern Maine Community College in 2003. He is employed with General Electric. The couple met while attending Hermon High School and reside in Carmel. An Aug. 16, 2008, wedding is planned.
