JACKSON – Barry Williams Griglio, 56, husband and friend for 32 years to Susan L. (Winchester) Griglio, died Dec. 11, 2005. He was born Jan. 8, 1949, in Springfield, Mass., the son of Richard A. Griglio Sr. and Claire Parent Griglio. Barry was an excellent finish carpenter and layer of tile. He also specialized in fixing computers and helping others keep their computers running. He was always eager to help anyone in need and at any time of day to help solve a problem or fix something. Barry had a passion for music and he loved canoeing with his longtime friends. He was a devoted father who took great pride in his son and as a husband he valued his wife’s input and hard work. Barry fought his cancer with great determination and kept his humor and positive attitude to the end. He was loved by many dear friends and family who have offered outstanding support to Susan, Mike and their family at this difficult time. Susan and Mike are incredibly grateful for all the love and support and prayers that have kept them strong and able to function. Thank you all so very, very much. Surviving are his wife, Susan of Jackson; a son, Michael Griglio, a graduate of MMA with a BS degree in power engineering, of Queensbury, N.Y.; a brother, Rich Griglio of Boston, Mass.; a twin sister, Phyllis Redes of Elberta, Ala. A celebration of Barry’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 1225 Broadway, Bangor.
