BANGOR – Beatrice Margaret Urquhart, 83, died April 6, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Oct. 20, 1923, in Eastport, the daughter of James W. and Lucy S. (Welpley) Sullivan. Beatrice worked for many years doing cleaning and maintenance with her husband for Penobscot Savings Bank. She loved listening to country music and watching The Lawrence Welk Show. She was dearly loved and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and will be sadly missed. She is survived by daughters, Janet Watson and husband, Bill, of Bangor, Beatrice Mayhew of Bangor, Carol Merrithew and husband, Barry, of Milwaukee, Wis.; a son, Mike Urquhart; brothers, Ronald and Jimmie; sisters, Alice and Betty; grandchildren, Lisa, Bea, Raina, Blythe, Jennifer and Mike Jr.; and a great-grand-daughter, Meaghan. She was predeceased by her husband, Darrell; and by a son, Marlin; and a daughter, Lynn. Friends are invited to call noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with son-in-law, Wilbur “Bill” Watson officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the service. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
