EAST MILLINOCKET – C. Hannah Rossignol, 84, went to her eternal rest with Jesus Christ, her savior, Friday, April 18, 2008, from a Millinocket hospital. She was born May 2, 1923, in Caribou, the daughter of Charles and Cora (Davenport) Cox. Hannah was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God, East Millinocket, and was a past commander of D.A.V. Auxiliary Chapter No. 22, Medway. She is survived by five children, Alwin Cox and his wife, Grace, of Woodville, Linda Theriault and her husband, Roland, of Medway, Gilbert Rossignol and his wife, Dorothy, of East Millinocket, Vernon Rossignol and his wife, Lori, of Medway and Kathleen Drinkwater and her husband, Rodney, of Chester; a sister, Wilma Dow of Caribou; a brother, Vernon Cox and his wife, Annie, of Charleston, S.C.; 15 grandchildren, Charles Cox and his wife, Michelle, Heather Cox, Lisa Taylor and her husband, Jesse, Jeff Stanley and his wife, Dawn, Lori Smith and her husband, Kenny, Carroll Stanley and his wife, Renee, Christina Elward and her husband, John, Jody Duncan and her husband, Cyrus, Gilbert Rossignol and his wife, Sue, John Rossignol, Kasey Rossignol, Nicholas Rossignol, Laci Drinkwater, Rodney Drinkwater and Clayton Rossignol; many stepgrandchildren, great-grand-children, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Hannah will also be missed by a special friend, Buford Calfee of Newport, Tenn. She will join several family members who have been awaiting her in heaven, a son, David Rossignol; and siblings, Delmar Cox, Lillian Stanley, Vinal Cox, Arnold Cox, Orland Cox, Wendell Cox, Steven Cox and Kathleen Baker. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Monday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, with the Rev. Regginal Adams, pastor, officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, East Millinocket.
