EAST MILLINOCKET -Christopher R. Boutaugh, 30, passed away after a long illness of Muscular Dystrophy at his residence in Millinocket Tuesday, April 11, 2006. He was born in Millinocket, Dec. 16, 1975, the son of Robert S. “Bear” and Carla J. Boutaugh. He graduated from Schenk High School, Class of 1994 and went to Eastern Maine Community College for two years and Northern Maine Technical College for two more years. After graduating college he lived in Bangor/Brewer area for 10 years. Returning home in 2005, he spent his time doing what he loved best, customizing pick-up trucks. He really enjoyed watching all sports, but especially NASCAR on television. He had an awesome NASCAR collection, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also loved bird hunting with his mother and father. Chris was an extremely loyal friend to his many friends. He is survived by his beloved parents, Robert “Bear” and Carla Boutaugh of East Millinocket; his loving sister, Brooks Boutaugh of Millinocket; his grandmother, Carolyn Craig of East Millinocket; his aunt, Connie and her husband, Sam Smith and their children, Samantha and her family, Adam and his family, and Josh, all of Florida; many cousins whom he loved dearly; special friends, Melissa and Camron McDunnah and their children, McKenzie, Mitchell, Madison, Mason McDunnah of East Millinocket, D.J. McDunnah of East Millinocket, Mike Kimball Jr. of Bangor, Richard Montgomery Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, of New Hampshire, Eric Giberson of East Millinocket, and Chris Wyman of East Millinocket, and many more special friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Winston and Reta Boutaugh; his grandfather, Charlie Boss; great-grandparents, Doc and Opal Trout, George and Agnes Boss. At Chris’s request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 17, in Millinocket Cemetery.
