BEALS – Clayton Foster Sparks, 77, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 5, 2005. He was born Sept. 6, 1927, at Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Alonzo M. and Maude F. Sparks. Clayton was a veteran of World War II. He worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring to Beals in 1980. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennine Sparks; a daughter, Nancy; two sons, Lonnie and Gary; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will take place 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at the United Pentecostal Church in Jonesport. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at the church officiated by Pastor Steve Bertrand. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias. <
