FORT KENT – Egline (Madore) Dubois entered her 5th day March 11, 2005. She was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Frenchville, the daughter of Denis and Marie (Gervais) Madore. Egline had entered her Cursillo now living into her 5th day. She was an active member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Fort Kent, which she was voted past mother of the year in 1977. She also was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 9609 of Fort Kent. She worked as a cook at U.M.F.K. for 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered as an avid card player. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Roland and his wife, Bernadette, of Fort Kent; two daughters, Rinette and her husband, Doug Bacon, of Reston, Va., Jenny and her husband, Biz Gagnon, of Frenchville; one brother, Josephat Madore of Fort Kent; two sisters, Aline Hebert and Yvette Hebert, both of Fort Kent; two half brothers, Bertrand Roy of Plantsville, Conn. and Ivan Roy of Fort Kent; two half sisters, Doloris Chasse and Evangline Bouley, both of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren, Beverly MacNeill, Kevin and Steven Dubois, Wayne and Denise Pelletier, Nicole Gagnon and Monique Sullivan; five great-grandchildren, Heather and Tyler MacNeill, Ashley and Marcie Pelletier and Bethany Delusso; and one special sister-in-law, Beditte Dubois. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hector “Babe” Dubois in 1981. Friends my call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home in Fort Kent and 9 a.m. till time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Spring burial will be held May 18, 2005, in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers those who wish may donate in her memory to the Northern Main Medical Center Guild, care of Claire Moss, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
