HERMON – Ida E. Grace passed away unexpectedly Oct. 25, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 16, 1923, the daughter of Lemuel and Lucy Mae Overlock Nowell. She was a resident of Hermon all her life. She is survived by her children, Stella Schmaltz of Hermon; stepson, Richard Grace and his wife, Janice, of Etna; a brother, William Nowell and wife, Lurline; grandchildren, Sonya Gordon, Debby Borders, Tammy Patterson, Patricia Ruest, Rick, Brent and Don Grace; 31 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter C. Grace in 1990; and granddaughter, Tera Jean Borders in 2005. Service arrangements will be at a later date.
