BANGOR – Jean M. McCray, 73, died Jan. 15, 2007, at a Brewer nursing home after a long illness. She was born April 8, 1933, in Carmel, the daughter of William and Florice (Partridge) Dunton. She was a member of the Glenburn Covenant Church and loved to play bingo. She is survived by a brother, Maurice William Dunton of Brooksville, Fla.; a sister, Alice Mary Gardiner of Carmel; a special aunt, Phylis Partridge; several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by four brothers, James A. Dunton, David Skyler Dunton, Maynard Lee Dunton and Reginald Allen Dunton; a sister, Stella E. Sewall; and a special brother-in-law, Edward Gardiner. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Carmel, in the spring. Cremation arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
