BREWER – Mary Emeline Kelly, 82, wife of the late Robert J. Kelly, died March 31, 2008, at an Orono health care center. She was born March 21, 1926, in Bangor, the daughter of Cyrus B. and Jacqueline M. Gallant. Emeline was a long-time resident of South Brewer and a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer. Surviving are three children, Robert J. Kelly and his wife, Fran, of Veazie, William E. Kelly and his wife, Peggy, of Bangor and Colene Turner and her husband, Jay, of Hermon; eight granddaughters, Wendy Kelly, Julie (Kelly) Cote, Alanna Turner, Angela Turner, Ashley (Turner) Zani, Tammy (Kelly) Cushing, Catherine Kelly and Rachel Kelly; five great-grand-children, Alyssa Kelly, Victoria “Tori” Cushing, Nicole Zani, Anthony Cote and Andrew Cote; one sister, Teresa (Gallant) Kelly and her husband, Gerald, of Brewer; nieces, nephews and cousins; four sisters-in-law, Irene Gallant of Bangor, Julia Brewster and her husband, Gayle, of Oklahoma City, Mary Kelly of Bangor and Ann Blood of League City, Texas; and a brother-in-law, Martin Kelly and his wife, Pat, of Bangor. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by Frank, John and Raymond Gallant. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at St. Ter-esa’s Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt, pastor, celebrant. A time of continued fellowship will be held immediately afterward at the parish center. Burial will be later in the spring at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
