MILLINOCKET – Mary L. Coyne, 67, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at her home. She was born May 2, 1940, in Millinocket, the daughter of Russell and Lena Guy. Mary was a graduate of St. Martin’s High School, Millinocket, Class of 1959. She was a hobbyist and enjoyed quilting and knitting. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle. She was a communicant of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish. Mary is survived by her husband of 19 years, Daniel Coyne of Millinocket; her children, Terrance “Rusty” Friel of Corinth, Elisa Mossentine and her husband, Mark, of West Tremont and Todd Friel and his wife, Theresa, of Molothian, Va.; two sisters, Theresa Ivy and her husband, Robert, of South Paris and Bonnie Bilodeau and her husband, John, of Virginia Beach, Va.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Russell Guy Jr. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
