LEE – Maude H. Merletti, 86, wife of the late Phillip Merletti, died April 10, 2004, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born Dec. 4, 1917, in New Haven, Conn., the daughter of Herbert Dayton and Jessie May Pedrick. Maude was a hard worker during the depression. She worked at A C Gilberts and the library at Yale University. She always had time for her husband and her son; and she loved her son dearly. She is survived by her son and his wife, Phillip and Lynn Merletti of Lee; two grandchildren, Keith Jimmo and Ella of North Dakota, and Douglas Jimmo and Carrie of Florida; three great-grandchildren, Madison Lynn of Florida, and Meghan and Adam, both of North Dakota; four nieces, Lorraine, Greta, Georgia and Jackie Francois; a nephew, Herbert D. and Polly Pedrick. In addition to her husband, Phillip, she was predeceased by a brother, Herbert; and a sister, Alta. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
