MAUDE MAE (BLAKE) BRAGG BRADFORD and SHERMAN MILLS – Maude Mae (Blake) Bragg, 95, passed away March 22, 2008, after a short illness. She was born March 7, 1913, in Wytopitlock, the daughter of Charles and Pansy (Anderson) Blake. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Chester Wilder Bragg; two grandsons, Geoffrey Durgan and Eric McNally; and one great-grandson, Garth Durgan. She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Glidden of Bradford and her life companion, Gerald “Red” Bubier, a be there, do it all, whenever needed, true friend, Virginia Durgan of Dover, Fla., and Mavis Auxier and husband, Randell, of Frankfort, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Derosier, Chester Glidden, Deanna Durgan, Gregory Durgan, Danette Donaghy, Lynn Howes and Lori Russell; 11 great-grandchildren, Bradley, Bria, Heather, Cammie, Megan, Devon, Ryan, Melissa, Jessica, Kara and Kendra; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Helen Hatch of Moore, S.C. She will be greatly missed by her special “Saturday night canasta” playing friends, Roberta and Denise; along with her two furry companions, Pepi and Pooh Bear. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the sixth floor staff at St. Joseph Hospital for their compassionate care and attention. There will be a family graveside service in the spring at Sherman Mills Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
