BILLERICA, Mass. – Susan (Hessert) Vigna, 56, wife of Michael Vigna died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at her home after a battle with breast cancer. She was born April 3, 1949, in Bangor, daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Madeline A. (Clark) Hessert and had lived in Bangor before moving to Peabody, Mass., and then Billerica, Mass., in 1977. Susan Vigna had been employed as an nurse at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Mass., for 15 years having worked on the medical surgical and post op floors. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Vigna and Joshua Clogston of Stoneham, Mass.; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Major General Wilfred and Marion Hessert of Palm Coast, Fla., Stephen and Louise Hessert of Cumberland Center, David and Deanna Hessert of Hampden, Anthony and Melany Hessert of Caribou; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Christine Hess-ert and Mary Ann Wade, both of Bangor, Elizabeth and Leo Roy of Middletown, R.I.; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Thursday. A funeral will be held 8 a.m. Friday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, Mass. A Funeral Mass will be held 9 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 470 Boston Rd., Billerica, Mass. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will be in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica, Mass.
