BRADLEY – Thirza C. Baker, 93, wife of the late Leo L. Baker, died Dec. 7, 2004, at her residence. She was born in Bradley, March 30, 1911, the daughter of Vernard H. and Laila (Tarrio) Rowell. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bradley. She is survived by her son, Ronald Baker and his wife, Patricia of Newbury, Mass.; a daughter-in-law, Corinne Baker of Bradley; grandchildren Maria Desrosiers of Bellingham, Mass., Gregory Baker of Windham, Mark Baker of Glenburn, Brenda Eldridge of Brunswick, Christopher Baker of Salem, N.H., Linda Kothman of Scarborough and Bernadette Allen of Tijeras, N.M.; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo L. Baker; her son, Russell L. Baker; and granddaughters, Sabrina Petersen and Melissa DeVoid. At her request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley, will be announced in the spring.
