At Lubec, Stephen Strout led a balanced effort with 19 points as the Knights ran past the Hor-nets. Blake Chase tossed in 18 points and Jared Dorr tallied 13 for Narraguagus of Harrington. Timmy Gross sparked Lubec with 15 points and Jacob Robbins scored 11.
Hermon 55, Bucksport 28
At Bucksport, the Hawks used a strong defensive effort to beat the Golden Bucks. Colton Gross scored 10 points and Andy Ball added nine in a balanced Hermon effort. Dom Kone led Bucksport with nine points.
Hodgdon 69, East Grand 45
At Hodgdon, 6-foot-3 junior Daniel McGillicuddy poured in 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Hawks by the Vikings of Danforth. McGillicuddy’s twin brother, Andrew, also 6-3, chipped in with 10 points while Chris Williams contributed 16. Kaleb Dicker paced East Grand with 23 points and Seth Cropley netted 11.
Foxcroft 47, John Bapst 44 (OT)
At Bangor Auditorium, the Ponies scored the first eight points in overtime and held on to edge the Crusaders. Trailing by nine entering the fourth quarter, the Crusaders rallied and Steve Kelly’s layup gave them a 36-34 lead with a minute left. FA’s Josiah Richard then scored on a running layup with 30 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. Ryan Stroud led the Ponies with 16 points, Jamie Nason added 10 points and five assists and James Johnston grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked five shots. Derek Smith topped Bapst with 13 points, Ryan Carr posted 10 and Kelly had nine.
Greenville 70, Valley 54
At Greenville, Tony DiAngelo led four Lakers in double figures as Greenville pulled away in the second half. DiAngelo finished with 23 points and four steals, Emerson Sikes posted 14 points and Richie Munster and Alex Jardine added a dozen each. Cam Miller led the Cavaliers of Bingham with a game-high 24 points.

Hodgdon 60, East Grand 29
At Hodgdon, Jillian London scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Hodgdon rolled past East Grand of Danforth. Kate Duff, Whitney Wallace and Chelsea Sloat each chipped in with eight points. Kelsey Daoust paced East Grand with 14 points.
Calais 44, Washington Acad. 43
At Calais, Courtney Hill buried a 3-pointer with two seconds remaining to help the Blue Dev-ils rally for the victory. Hill’s basket helped Calais overcome a six-point deficit with two min-utes left. She finished with a game-high 18 points. Nicole Osborne added eight points for the winners. Andi Flannery led Washington Academy of East Machias with 14 points.
Narraguagus 54, Lubec 46
At Lubec, Kristen Burke hit consecutive 3-pointers, her only two baskets of the game, to put the Knights in the lead for good during a 19-10 third-quarter scoring surge. Andrea Perry poured in a game-high 25 points for Narraguagus of Harrington, while Jessica Tenan scored 12. Shelby Searles paced Lubec with 14 points and Krista Wright netted 11.
Valley 47, Greenville 43
At Greenville, the Cavaliers built a 10-point first half lead, then held off a late rally by the Lakers. Cindy Schultz paced Valley of Bingham with 21 points and six assists and Jocelyn Law-eryson contributed 20 points and six assists. Saige Weeks led Greenville with 12 points and 17 rebounds. Gretel Breton added 11 points for the Lakers, who went 3-for-17 from the foul line.
Stearns 57, Piscataquis 15
At Millinocket, Adriana Eurich led four Stearns scorers in double figures with 13 points as the Minutemen cruised past Piscataquis of Guilford. Molly LeGassey scored 12 points for Stearns while Sam Lyons posted 11 points and Kirsten Marter added 10. Shaz Bravi scored eight points to pace Piscataquis.
MDI 42, GSA 41
At Blue Hill, the Mount Desert Island girls basketball team scored the first 15 points of the second half, and Sara Carroll hit four big free throws down the stretch as the Trojans held on for a victory over George Stevens Academy. Trailing 21-18 at halftime, the 1-1 Trojans held the 2-1 Eagles scoreless on 0-for-17 shooting up until the 6:10 mark of the fourth quarter. GSA pulled back to within one on Alida Peake’s one-handed floater in the paint with 3:05 to play. Despite only two field goals in the fourth quarter, MDI hit 7-of-10 from the foul line in the fourth and withstood every rally the Eagles threw at them. Down 42-39 with 11 seconds left, GSA had a chance to tie, but the Trojans’ defense did an excellent job on the perimeter, and gave up a driv-ing layup to Stevie Theoharidis as time expired. Carroll was the only Trojan in double figures with 10 points, while Megan Phelps was a force underneath with nine points and 11 rebounds. India Frazier led GSA with 13 points while Theoharidis had 11.
Penquis 42, Orono 40
At Milo, Erica Lyford’s two-pointer with 25 seconds left in the game gave Penquis the lead for good as the Patriots held on to edge Orono. Lyford finished with a game-high 15 points. Jade Keezer paced Orono with 13 points while Elizabeth Fox added 12.
DI-Stonington 70, Searsport 31
At Deer Isle, Audra Eaton poured in 14 of her game-high 19 points in the first half to spark the Mariners’ victory. Eaton also grabbed 11 rebounds, and Anika Powers, Britnie Jones and Erika Hutchins each contributed 10 points for Deer Isle-Stonington. Olivia Quigley led the Vikings with 10 points.

Brewer 9, Skowhegan 0
At Soukee Arena, Winslow, Ryan Nadeau tallied three goals as Brewer shut out Skowhegan. Dylan Fitzpatrick posted a goal and three assists while Evan Nadeau and Chris Lopez each had a goal and an assist for Brewer. Tyler White, Steve Farley and Jacob Chapman each chipped in with a goal. Eric White and Matt Sloan combined to stop all nine shots for the 2-0 Witches. Jimmy Quirion made 28 saves on 37 shots for 0-2 Skowhegan.
