LEWISTON, Maine — A 3-year-old child was injured in a fall from a third-story window in Lewiston.
WCSH-TV reports that it happened around 5 p.m. Saturday in an apartment building on Knox Street and that officials said the boy was hanging out a window with no screen when a male occupant saw the child and rushed to grab him but was too late.
WCSH says the child fell 25 feet and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center as a trauma patient. Officials say he suffered a broken leg.
