MILO – Dominic Stephen Nee, 1, was granted his angel wings July 8, 2009. He was born Aug. 22, 2007, in Waterville, the son of Michael and Carolyn (Forkey) Nee. Dominic’s final days were spent surrounded by family and friends, whom Dominic had touched in some small way throughout his short, but memorable life. Dominic’s life would seem too short to many, but those who have been touched by him understand the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him, and without speaking a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. With Dominic’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will always miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will forever remain in our hearts. Throughout his short life, we have been able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents. Dominic is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Carolyn Nee of Milo; his grandparents, Cindy Forkey, and Diane and Edward Nee; his great-grandparents, Sylvia Redpath, George Redpath, Emma Graves, Joni and Al Raleigh; many aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Pastor Ray Beliss officiating. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to assist his parents with funeral expenses to Diane and Edward Nee, care of Camden National Bank, P.O. Box 280, Corinth, ME 04427. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
