CHERRYFIELD – Madelyn Tibbetts, who was born April 27, 1932, passed away Sept. 19, 2010, after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Tibbetts; siblings, Junior Strout, Wilbur Strout, Llewellyn Strout, Ruth Curtis and Bertha Leighton; parents, Marcia and Kenneth Strout; and sons, Richard, Thomas and George Campbell. She will be missed by her daughters, Linda Moore of Louisiana, Carol Campbell and her significant other, John Gonzales of Milford, Sandra and her husband, Karl Goodkowsky, of Holden and Mary Stanwood of Bangor. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to friends Elestine Gray, Mary Helen Snowdeal, Hermie West and Alvin Hall. Memorial graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Cherryfield Cemetery.
