Truck repossession leads to charge of terrorizing against Brewer man

A Brewer man was arrested Friday morning on charges of terrorizing after getting into a verbal altercation with a tow truck driver.

According to Corp. Nelson Feero of the Brewer Police Department, 48-year-old Christopher Grindle of Holyoke Street became agitated when a towing company tried to repossess his pickup truck, which was parked outside his home. After a brief but intense verbal dispute, Grindle told the driver he was going to go inside to get a shotgun, Feero said. The driver called the police, who arrived at the home and used a public address system to call Grindle out of the house.

Grindle was arrested without incident, taken to Penobscot County Jail and released on bail later on Friday. Grindle is scheduled to appear in court on April 13.
