VAN BUREN – Jeannette E. Berube, 88, died March 11, 2011, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born March 10, 1923, in Van Buren, the daughter of Archille and Minnie (Masse) Levesque.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel Berube of Glendive, Mont., Gilman Berube and his wife, Diane, of Madawaska and Dennis Berube Jr. and wife, Lynn, of England; 10 daughters, Homerine Burgess and her husband, Jimmy, Linda Evans and her husband, Keith, all of Chillicothe, Ohio, Velma Beaupre and her husband, Gerald, Claudette Bourgoin and her husband, Maurice, all of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Jacqueline Walker and her husband, Elmer, of Drummond, New Brunswick, Patricia Plourde and her husband, Herve, of Portage Lake, Adeline Beaulieu and her husband, Rosaire, of Caribou, Rachel Cormier and her husband, Guy, Rita Aubin and companion, Daniel, all of Rigaud, Quebec, and Caroline Berube of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; 36 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Berube, in 2007; and by a granddaughter, Brenda Plourde, in 1994.
Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
