BANGOR, Maine — A Belfast man was arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs early Wednesday morning after Bangor police were called to investigate a report of suspicious activity on the third level of the parking garage at Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway.
After his arrest at about 12:30 a.m., Brian Sanderson, 34, was taken to Penobscot County Jail, Bangor police Sgt. Brad Johnston said Thursday, citing a police report.
Sanderson since has been released on bail, a jail official confirmed.
According to the police report, police found Ritalin in Sanderson’s possession.
