Bangor Hydro Electric crews are working to restore power to more than 1,500 customers in northern Penobscot County after Thursday’s storm, the company said Friday.
The storm caused a large number of broken trees and poles and fallen power lines, the company said.
Southbound I-95 between Orono and Bangor was closed Thursday night after downed power lines made the road impassable.
