LEE – Elizabeth Bowers Tozier, 80, passed away unexpectedly June 9, 2011, at her home. She was born April 17, 1931, in Lincoln, the daughter of Joseph and Alice (Lowe) Coffin.
Elizabeth took part in local church activities. She was well known as operator of Bowers Greenhouse, Lee. She participated in local civic events.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Arvon Bowers; and her second husband, Floyd Tozier. She is survived by two children, Fletcher Bowers and his wife, Lisa, of Elk River, Minn., and Gail Beers and her husband, Keith, of Farmingdale; six grandchildren, Jason, Tonya, Christopher, Christina, Jenny and Justin; several great-grandchildren; a half sister, Blanche Worster of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Vince Hartford officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery. Those who wish may sign an online register and leave written condolences at
