BAILEY ISLAND – Kent G. Mockler, 61, formerly of Caribou, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. He was born May 4, 1950, in Caribou, oldest son of Melbourne M. and Glennis A. (Coffin) Mockler.
He graduated from Caribou High School in 1968. In 1982, he met the love of his life, Sherri Duprey, and they married June 18, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Duprey Mockler of Bailey Island; stepson, Jason Duprey of New York City; brother, Murray M. Mockler of Harpswell; maternal aunt, Katherine Raymond of Orr’s Island; a niece, a nephew and many cousins. He was predeceased by stepdaughter, Tiffany L. Duprey-Murley; and youngest brother, Lee B. Mockler.
