CORINTH – Christian Merle Rand, 7, died Feb. 10, 2012, in Corinth. He was born Sept. 28, 2004, in Bangor, son of Nicholas and Amanda (Worster) Rand.

He attended the Kenduskeag school and was a very active and well loved second grader.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and brother, Isaac of Corinth, are his grandparents, Clyde and Gayle Richards Jr. of Corinth, Susan Rice-Bragdon of Presque Isle, and Wade and Karen Worster of Charleston; great-grandmother, Viola Worster of Corinth; great-grandparents, Clyde and Edith Richards Sr. of Corinth; aunts and uncles, Ted Caruso II, David and Danyall Hallett Jr., Paul Rand Jr., George and his fiancee, Liz, and three aunts younger than Christian, Shiloh, Alaina and Wade; great-aunt and great-uncle, Margaret and George; many more aunts and uncles; many cousins, Dylan, Nate, Luke, Tori, soon-to-be Pru, Leyla, Jensen, Steph, Jas, Taylor, Cam, Seth, Lynette, Josh, Ben and families; special friends, Lexxi, Heather and boys, Grammie Sherry, Mrs. Jordan; and class and many other friends. Christian was predeceased by his twin brothers, Robbie and Nicky; grandfather, Paul Ray Rand Sr. and great-grandfather, Merle Worster.

Christian never wanted anyone to be sad. A celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m. Friday at Corinth United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Proctor officiating.
