BANGOR, Maine — The Community Connector announced Wednesday that its new Odlin Road route will begin service on April 2.
The new route, which also will cover Outer Hammond Street and Maine Avenue, will serve a large employment and service corridor for the region. Along the route are three industrial parks, nine hotels and motels, several restaurants and many businesses.
The new bus run will bring the total number provided by the Community Connector to eight and will extend service out Hammond Street Extension to Hildreth Street from University College on Odlin Road.
Buses run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, though some routes are run on Saturdays.
