BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police are asking the public for help in finding a Curve Street man who hasn’t been seen in more than a week.

Matthew Johnson, 32, last was seen on April 1, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Monday in a news release. Johnson was reported missing by his mother on Thursday.

Johnson is a white male who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has blue eyes and shaved blond hair and last was seen wearing green pants and a dark shirt. He has a green head tattooed on his chest and a shell tattooed on his left arm.

A post about the missing man on the Bangor Daily News website written by a family member said that Johnson is known as “Bubble” to his friends. The post also said that Johnson has a goatee.

Anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts is urged to call Detective Brent Beaulieu of the Bangor Police Department at 947-7382. To leave an anonymous message, press 6 to reach the Police Department’s tip line.

    1.  The picture that is on Facebook is the same as this one and it IS clearer. I’m guessing that this was scanned, photocopied, or something similar.

  1. People don’t post a picture there is something to complain about… C’mon now .. Its not a STUDIO photograph, but its a simple picture of a lost man…it give us a great idea of who to look out for don’t you think…STOP MOANING AND GROANING AT EVERYTHING!!!…

  2. According to the facebook event created by his family, he has been found safe, and is in the process of being reunited with his family.  So happy to hear of this happy ending!
