UNITY, Maine — A stem cell donor drive will take place noon-4 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Tozier Gymnasium, Unity College, 90 Quaker Hill Road.
The drive is seeking to find potential donors for Maine Warden Service Maj. Gregory Sanborn, who is facing a stem cell transplant in May.
Sanborn will be present at the event.
Organizers said there is no cost to be a stem cell donor. The Be the Match Foundation covers the $100 per person cost and asks for donations.
For information, call Unity College at 948-9100. Messages of support may be sent to Maj. Gregory Sanborn, Maine Warden Service, 41 State House Station, Augusta 04333-0041.
