PARIS, Maine — A deck that collapsed at a local apartment briefly trapped two people and sent four to a hospital.
Police in Paris say a pressure treated wood deck holding six to eight people collapsed before 9 p.m. Saturday. They say two people were briefly trapped between the house and the deck.
Authorities say four people were taken to a hospital. Their injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
Paris is about 40 miles northwest of Portland.
