BANGOR, Maine — A local man who allegedly shoplifted perfume from Sears at the Bangor Mall was arrested on multiple charges last Wednesday after he reportedly tried to flee from police.
Jeremy Hunter, 38, was charged with theft, refusing to submit to arrest, violating the conditions of his release from a previous arrest and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, Bangor police Lt. Tom Reagan said Tuesday.
Reagan said police went to Hunter’s home to question him about his allegedly shoplifting after they reviewed video surveillance images that showed the license plate of the vehicle he appeared to have left the mall in.
Hunter reportedly denied having shoplifted and then ran away from police, who caught up with him a short time later, Reagan said. At the time of his arrest last week, Hunter was out on bail from a prior, unrelated arrest.

I would hate to be his old man.can you imagine trying to explain that one to the boys in the barber shop. PERFUME. Are you kiddn me.That’s my boy!
I am not supporting this fellows actions, yet he may have thought he would be able to impress a girl with it.
She’d probably be more impressed with a job. Then he could legitimately buy her the perfume !
snnnf..snnnf..ayuh, this is him.
Bud Leavitt never ran like a scared little girl. He stood there and took his lumps.
