BANGOR, Maine — A Bangor man was charged with felony furnishing of scheduled drugs Friday after he was pulled over and searched by a police officer.
Clifton Tower, 31. also was charged with violating his bail conditions from a previous arrest, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Monday.
According to Edwards, Tower was arrested after Bangor police Officer Taylor Bagley saw him driving on Ohio Street and recognized him as a recent arrestee subject to police searches as one of his bail conditions.
After running Tower’s license plate number to confirm Tower’s identify, Bagley pulled his van over and conducted a search, Edwards said. The search allegedly turned up a plastic bag containing 46 oxycodone pills.
Tower was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and released on bail later in the day, a jail official confirmed.
According to the Bangor Daily News archives, Tower was arrested at the end of June after he allegedly stabbed a tire on the car of a local woman whose protection order against him had expired. Tower was arrested at that time on domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal mischief charges.
Tower has a previous disorderly conduct conviction from 2001, according to court listings printed in the Bangor Daily News.

And, he is on the loose again! Looks like a “Cat and Mouse” game…
Another goon that looks like he was born to be in a mugshot.
seriously now, Ohio St. may be the worst street in all of maine. What other street in Maine comes close?
First
Lisbon St
Grant ST. in Portland. Don’t get out much do you?
Another oxy-moron.
Good thing oxy’s are illegal.
Imagine the havoc it would cause if it was legal and they
sold it all over the place?
Yeah I’m sure glad you need a perscription for those things. Imagine what things would be like if it were as accessible as, what is it, methedone? Oh that can’t be right you can “ONLY” get that at a clinic. Oh well you get my point.
Released out on bail, that’s assuring………
Stabbing the ex’s tire and driving around with oxys on bail ain’t no way to go thru life, Cliff.
In Bangor? No way…..
Why he looks like such a nice young man
