KENNEBUNK, Maine — Newly released court documents say a “domination fetish sheet” was among the items seized from the home of a fitness instructor facing charges in a prostitution case that hangs over this seacoast community.

A search warrant affidavit unsealed by a judge in Biddeford District Court on Wednesday also says personal lubricant, baby oil bottles, condoms and other items were taken from an office in Kennebunk that was rented for a short time this year by Alexis Wright of Wells, a Zumba instructor who was charged in October with engaging in prostitution.

According to police, Wright, 29, videotaped many of the encounters without her clients’ knowledge and kept detailed records suggesting the sex acts generated $150,000 over 18 months. Wright has pleaded not guilty to 106 counts including prostitution and invasion of privacy. Her business partner, insurance agent Mark Strong Sr., 57, of Thomaston, pleaded not guilty to 59 misdemeanor counts.

Police in Kennebunk have been slowly releasing the names of the supposed johns. Two lists including a total of 39 names have been made public during the past few weeks.

In the meantime, documents have been shedding light on the nature of the investigation that’s been under way for months. Police were searching for more information about Wright’s website, called Sensual Body Work by Lydia. Investigators were also looking for information about pornography featuring Wright under the stage name KiKiCu.

The warrants reveal that the owner of the office in Kennebunk rented by Wright went to police after finding Internet videos of Wright, a massage table and a camcorder on top of a tripod in the rented area. Among the seized items that police listed in the court documents were an address book, a notebook with names and a ledger.

Police also seized a computer, camera and recording equipment, and a white envelope with $1,000 in cash that was found in Wright’s car, the affidavit said.

An arrest warrant for Strong that was released this summer details what police said was a recorded telephone call between a Maine Drug Enforcement Agent and “Lydia,” arranging “unspecified sexual conduct” for money.

      1. The continued reporting on this story is for readers with porn site blocks on their work computers. Who cares.

      2.  I googled this expert in her field , for research purposes.
Great, now I have porn site history visits on my computer.
I was just trying to stay informed regarding this crime.
I will say that some of the links were informative as well.
              Explicitly informative.

        1. Get a good windows cleaning program & wash your computer to DoD or other government standards & noone will be any the wiser.  Even the cops can’t see what you’ve been browsing after using it.

      1. I have no interest whatsoever is looking at her videos.  Are they any more spectacular than all the other low-budget porn out there?

        1.  They’re real and that is what makes them interesting. It isn’t a bunch of paid actors faking it. Well, one of them was.

    1.  You seem to be on your way to  making that  fortune by the number of “likes”. Tell me where to send that $1.

  1. Prostitution should be legal.  And Domination is a big thing now “50 Shades of Gray” being such a hot mainstream seller.

But she should not have videotaped them.  That was bad, bad, bad.

  2. Over $2k per week…….yeah, that will do a lot to dissuade our daughters who can’t find a job from pursuing Ms. Wright’s career.

  3.  So exactly what kind of “domination fetish sheet” do they have? Is it a record of client preferences or is it more like a wine list? I guess I’ll have to wait for Lifetime to make the movie about this case.

  4. is there a victim here, besides the i.r.s. who probably got swindled out of  income tax from the entrepreneurial, if not virtuous, Ms. Wright?

if she had a condoms required policy,  i think she was protecting and serving better than the cops and d.a. in this case.

      1. Be careful watching the videos……..computer  crime lab monitoring.  Hopefully, there is not child pornography……anyone searching the videos might get a visit from State Police and have your computer confiscated.

Last, I wonder how she , the child and possible  future grandchildren ( if not scarred for life)  will feel about this in years to come.
        What a disgrace

        1. Are you kidding?  This is gonna be great on that kid’s high school resume.  “You guys think your parents are cool?  My mom was the Great Kennebunk Zumba Ho of 2012.”  “Woooooowwww.”

  5. Shocking! I thought most of them just wanted to hold hands and snuggle!

Is there anyone who doesn’t believe Wright and Strong weren’t planning to extort anyone? This list would have been the “pay even more” group I suppose.

    1. Exactly.  The public outing of everyone (“everyone” which remains to be seen) involved may be a benefit to those men w/regards to that in the long run. Mr. Strong dug up the personal info, even for those who tried to remain anonymous, Alexis kept “meticulous” records for what purpose?  The Prostitute Pension Plan.

      1.  Maybe she just got off on watching the videos, or letting other men with that type of voyeuristic interest watch the videos?

  6. Ha ha.  When this story broke, I thought that she looked kinda hot until I did the math… 150+ “clients” (X) =…  nevermind.

I also think that this outcome will be interesting for all concerned including the PD, DA, judge, Johns, etc.  It would not surprise me if Strong gets off w/all but a minor technicality & Wright will be nailed for tax evasion.  Other than that?  Too many questions remain unanswered.  Even w/in the above story it seems to indicate that the landlord went into her rental, observed certain things & reported it to police.  What right did he have to go into her place of business?  Always more to the story.  Gotta run off to my Zumba date… I mean class now.

    1.  Dr. Barry Varry Darrison has studied human sexuality and finds that woman in Maine have an average of sexual 34 partners before first marrying. At the time their divorce is final, that number has increased to 67. In the post-divorce phase, the number continues to around 112.

And after all that, once a Maine woman hits her 30s, numbers often surpass 200 lifetime partners.

      1. So then a woman in her late 40’s should have had somewhere in the ballpark of 300+ sexual partners? Holy smokes I’ve got some catching up to do…see ya! :)

  7. Ever wonder why so many people are following this particular type of story so closely? Am no longer interested in what John did to Jane as it keeps me from working on my own stuff. Will leave that up to them. PS. Did not read the story, am only commenting.

    1. Weeks ago when this first broke a quick google search revealed her alias and you don’t need to know them to find her porn videos. Her real name will direct you to them.

  8. End this…..it’s old and nobody (with a clue) actually cares.  This “inside edition” approach to slowly releasing names and keeping us all on the edge of our seats (ha ha) is boring.  Print the names in the police log and move on….

  9. lol i thought about putting that one in the comment section myself – i thought it was a bit extreme. she even says “you like me ____ another man’s ___” and he says “what?”

LOL this is going to be the biggest scandal to ever hit the state of Maine. The man in video also appeared to have shaved legs… LOL

    1. The guy in the video will be recognized soon if he hasn’t already and life will never be the same in more ways than one. LOL I’m sure his wife is proud!

    2. Even more of a reason to not Google these videos.  I mean, to each their own, but I don’t want to see that!

        1. Yeah, but it’s better as porno Mad Libs.  Or a Match Game round.  BLANK another man’s BLANK – Charles Nelson Reilly!  “I said feed another man’s dog, Gene.”

  10. Cool!  And folks expected what — a list of fellas who like to talk sports, get tans and manicures?   I want the real nitty-gritty, lets see the list with chicken outfits and Shrek costumes, maybe the ex-selectman dressing like a French maid…  AAARRRGGGHHH!!!   LOL

  11. Tax dollars hard at work…. What a complete and utter waste of time and resources. Far more negative effects coming from the investigation, court proceedings and media frenzy than could have ever been caused by these two. There is at least a certain entertainment value to be had looking at the attention and reaction from so many people. Particularly from the prudish, religious, close-minded, etc. types that still see something like this as so very bad; yet these seem to be the very ones that are getting-off on this whole circus the most. We’re living in some awfully strange times: so many incredibly important issues to address, so many important discoveries to be made… yet it seems on every level of our society: from the lowly local newspapers all the way up to our judicial system things have been steadily reducing themselves to the likes of tabloids and judge judy. BDN should do some actual investigative reporting and find out exactly how much money, time and resources are going into all of this… now that would be a story. Of course as with most things the blame ultimately lies with the people themselves. Despite the obvious and countless methods currently being employed to undermine and degrade what little intelligence may be left in our population, it still lies on each and every one of us individually to wake up, question more, expect more and do more.

  12. By now why hasn’t the State had court orders to remove videos/images.  Crazy that they are still all up there.  And what is worse is no account is needed to see the stuff…How  many teens under 18 can view these comments and watch the videos now?

    1. That’s not how the internet works. By now Alexis’ fine work is hosted on 50 different servers in 50 different countries, which we lack any jurisdiction over. Once it’s on the net, it’s there forever, good or bad. Kids have been able to get free porn since the net took off.

Though it bothers me not personally, it does look like the mods have the weekend off based on some of the comments.

  13. How many millions is the state going to spend on this case. I bet more then they will ever get back. There going to be more money spent on this case then the Bill Clinton case.

    1. I’m not sure what would be so notable about the state spending “more then [sic] they will ever get back” on this case; surely they do so on every criminal case.  It’s not like there are revenue streams involved in, e.g., locking people up for arson, either.

  14. How is this relevant at all? Condoms, lubes and fetishes aren’t illegal. This is just plain old sensationalism. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize, shall we, BDN?

  15.  BDN deleted my comment again even though all it says it was a video i was referring to the title is actually “MAINE girl drinks from boyfriend’s hose”

  16. What was the point of this article?  Most of it was repeat info other than the shocking discovery of personal lubricant and condoms–wow, items found in a good majority of homes NOT involved in prostitution.  ??????

  17. Opps, wrong site.  I thought I was reading the Bangor Daily News, the people that advertises to teachers they should use the paper in their classrooms.

  18. :… and a white envelope with $1,000 in cash that was found in Wright’s car, the affidavit said.”   —  gotta wonder where the other $4,000 went.

  19. Good grief … haven’t we heard enough about this case?  Slow news day — again — BDN?  Maybe you should change your name to “The World”.

  20. This case is a train wreck but on the positive side it may get couples talking about their own sex lives and what is or isn’t in their nightstand drawer.

  21. Sounds like someone is gona be getting a spanking? It’s disappointing they didn’t get the video of the whip cream and ping pong balls.

  22. This case seems to be taking on a life of its own. Seriously, this is just another prostitution case. It sure isn’t novel.

  23. “We mustn’t be fooled, beneath the clothing is nakedness!” – Muppet moralist Sam the Eagle. Sam, Sam, where are you in our hour of weakness?

  24. Do we really need to know these things?  This just feels kinda tacky.

I’m thinkin’ this is just an  attempt by the  Maine media to get another 15 minutes  of national attention.

“Hey, look at us. We’re special too.”

  25. No one, who is not some insecure housewife, cares about this pathetic story…
Remember Alexis, a lot of us still respect you, and do not consider what you did a crime. Chin up girl!

  26. Its time for the mental health professionals to step up……..we need a “Zumba List Crisis Hotline”….

  27. Seriously, I don’t care.   Men need want sex.  If they can’t get it legally they pay for it…sorry but I don’t care.

  28. After reading all of these comments and anecdotes,  philosophies, and rendered opinions,   all about people who have been convicted of …..nothing.    It leads me to believe…….WHO CARES???     Why not just get this out of the press  and into a jury box?       OH…and I will note, that somehow a court can hand out warrant and pending charge information on this,  but the MSP doesn’t have to explain it’s problems with it’s troopers and their potential legal problems……funny ain’t it…..how that works?

  29. ” the owner of the office in Kennebunk rented by Wright went to police
after finding Internet videos of Wright, a massage table and a camcorder
on top of a tripod in the rented area.”

I still maintain that landlord had no right to enter the rented premises. Tenants are protected from exactly that. I believe I have heard him say he was curious about what was going on and went in to look when she wasn’t around. If so, he also needs to be charged with a crime.

  30. No one cares about this ridiculous “reality tv” show.
The way i see it, the men got laid, and just gave her a “tip” for her kindness.
    let’s move on.

  31. Well, what else could be newsworthy about this little grifting episode?
Just a thought for the writers of these stories: do you think the tuition money spent by your parents to send you to college to major in journalism was well- spent? And have you ever thought to tell your editor to shove off when he/ she tells you to do more writing on this case? No Pulitzer Prize in journalism with this story. Sorry.

  32. ya know,  instead of this shenanigan overused, front page headline,
maybe we could have some articles about the economy,
the devaluation of the dollar by the government,
    the rigged unemployment numbers,
    the endless wars,
china’s rising military power, but our own faltering military.
the upcoming elections and issues pertaining to them,

    but nope.
some zumba sex case is the buzz.
    mainstream media at its’ finest.

  33. The pulse radio show talks about Zumba often, liberal station promoting prositution.
Pats in the hobbit hole collecting money for weatherization and the more she collects the longer she has to stay in the hole.. help keep her there and donate.

    1. And I got banned for talking about her sticking her finger up her cornhole and poking the guy up the pooper! LOL The guy on all fours is probably the cop in the other article they say wasn’t involved.
