Last week, we headed to the coast to enjoy the sun after dark days of wind and rain brought by Hurricane Sandy. Most of the leaves have fallen, leaving the trees bare, but we hiked above them to breathtaking views of the ocean, shining in the sun. The temperature has dropped, making mittens a necessity, as well as a nice warm hat.

Guess where we hiked by viewing the photo gallery below. One hint: This trail sees its share of tourists during the summer, but this time of year, most of the vacationers are headed south. We saw several locals hiking this popular mountain on Saturday, Nov. 3.
