SACO, Maine — A homeless man was arrested Saturday and charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman inside a Saco motel room two weeks ago.
Maine State Police detectives arrested 39-year-old Lebon Bruno in connection with the death of 55-year-old Elizabeth Williams, who was found severely injured inside the motel room that Bruno had rented on Nov. 6. She died the next day at the hospital. The State Medical Examiner’s Office has declared the death a homicide, but has not released the cause of death. Detectives have worked closely with the Maine Attorney General’s Office and the decision was made Saturday to arrest Bruno.
Both Bruno and Williams, who also was homeless, frequented the Preble Street Resource Center’s Adult Shelter in Portland in the past. The two had been involved in a relationship for some time and the death is a domestic violence homicide.
Bruno has been taken to jail and will appear in York County Superior Court the first of the week.

Surely he is not homeless now. Pretty sick of him to do that to her, but he now has a place where paying for to live. Rest in peace
He’s homeless no more
Being homeless does not mean they are all criminals.
I wasn’t saying he was I just said he’s not gonna be homeless anymore because he’s gonna be jail
Kirk said nothing like that. At all. You jumped the gun a bit on that one.
All political correctness aside, we should probably focus on the dead woman. She was homeless also.
May she rest in peace, let’s try and remember the victim.
