LEBANON, Maine — A York County man was found dead on Tuesday evening, and police have ruled his death a suicide.
Department of Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said the man’s body was discovered by his wife in their Lebanon home on Tuesday.
A shotgun was found by the man’s side and he had a gunshot wound to the chest, according to McCausland.
The man’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, where officials determined the death to be a suicide on Wednesday, according to McCausland.
