GRAY, Maine — Another winter storm is expected to hit Maine over the weekend, with the southern part of the state expected to get the biggest brush, according to forecasters.

Portions of southern Maine, along with New Hampshire and Massachusetts, can expect at least 6 inches of snow starting Saturday afternoon and into Sunday, Margaret Curtis of the National Weather Service in Gray said Thursday.

Curtis said the storm’s track has it heading out to sea just off the coast of Cape Cod, and its unlikely northern parts of Maine will see any significant snowfall.

“Just another weekend of winter,” she said.
