SPRINGVALE, Maine — An arrest was made Thursday in an armed robbery that took place at the 7-Eleven in Springvale in February, according to a press release from the Sanford Police Department.
Police arrested Benjamin Lapanne, 30, of Lebanon in the Feb. 5 incident. On that date, the suspect entered the store at approximately 10:04 p.m., approached the clerk and displayed a firearm while demanding money. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Lapanne was transported to the York County Jail and is being held on $75,000 cash bail.
