BANGOR, Maine — Several law enforcement agencies on Thursday continued to investigate the case of a missing teenager from Glenburn.
Nichole Cable, 15, has been missing since Sunday evening. During a Wednesday media conference, her mother, Kristine Wiley, pleaded for her daughter’s return.
Penobscot County Sheriff Glenn Ross was mum on details Thursday morning, saying officials are “continuing to work on” the case.
Search efforts in Glenburn came up empty on Wednesday, and Cpl. John MacDonald of the Maine Warden Service said Thursday that game wardens are continuing to search, assisting sheriff’s deputies. Neither Ross nor MacDonald disclosed an exact Glenburn location where the search is taking place.
Approximately 45 law enforcement agencies throughout the state are working on the case. A Facebook group, “Bring Nichole Cable Home,” had over 4,100 members as of Thursday morning.
Cable is described as 5-foot-1 inch tall, weighing 90 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes and lip, nose and ear piercings.
