‘Aladdin Jr.’
BREWER, Maine — Daniel Perkins, a Junior at Hermon High School, and Alison Cross, a
sophomore at Bangor High School, will direct “Aladdin Jr.” which will be staged at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 19-20, at Next Generation Theatre, 39 Center St. We also have three great Molly Picone, a sophomore at Bangor High School; Emma Moore, a sophomore at John
Bapst High School; and Rachel Caron, a graduate of Brewer High School and member
of The Young Americans, will serve as choreographers.

Music at the Gazebo
BUCKSPORT, Maine — The Bucksport Area Cultural Arts Society and The Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor 3rd Thursdays at the Gazebo at 6:30 p.m. starting July 18. Admission is free. Bring a chair.
The schedule is:
• July 18, Aurora Jazz Project.
• Aug. 15, Maximum Blue with Max Silverstein, Jeff Silverstein and Nancy Merrill. The trio offers a wide selection of bluegrass, swing, old-time and Celtic-style fiddle tunes.
• Sept. 19, Galley Rats with Colin Graebert, Pat Sylvia and Caleb Sweet .
Oct. 17, Nukulele with Devin Ryan, Travis Veilleux, Kedrick Carson and Adam Carson.
Benefit dance
EDDINGTON, Maine — Seventies Reunion, a benefit dance, will take place 7-10 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Eddington Clifton Civic Center (Comins Hall) at 1387 Main Road. The box office will open at 6:30 p.m.
Live music performed by The Rebel Hill Rebels — Gary Gibbs, Don Nelligan and Lonesome Willie — playing classic and blues rock; Down East Country — Tom and Beth Flaherty, playing country classics; and guest vocalist Karen MacDonald from Boston.
The event will be hosted by radio personalities Brotha Luv and Lonesome Willie of the “Headrush Show” on WERU FM 89.9/99.9.
Tickets are $7 at the door or in advance from civic center board members.
