BANGOR, Maine — Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly broke into a laundromat overnight Thursday.

Officer Dan Sanborn was dispatched to 340 Stillwater Ave. at 7 a.m. Thursday when the owner reported that sometime overnight a suspect entered the building, Bangor police Lt. Paul Edwards said.

The owner told the officer that the suspect damaged an ATM machine and a soap dispenser, according to Edwards, taking 25 boxes of laundry soap in the process.

It is not known whether the suspect got away with any cash from the ATM.
