NORTH WATERBORO, Maine — Police and game wardens are still investigating leads in their search for a York County teenager who has been missing for nearly a week.
Jaden Dremsa, 15, of North Waterboro has been missing since May 8, and officials are conducting interviews and following up on tips, according to Maine Warden Service Lt. Kevin Adam.
“The search may not be as visible, but that does not mean we are not making progress,” Adam said. “We are still actively looking for Jaden.”
Game wardens will utilize aircraft in the search when weather permits, Adam said, and volunteers have focused on a two-mile area near Twin Pines Trailer Park in North Waterboro, where the teenager was last seen.
“In many cases we have exceeded the two-mile perimeter where Jaden was last seen,” Adam said. “We have searched the high probability areas and no significant clues have been found that can be attributed to him.”
Dremsa is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He has shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a dark colored T-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
Anyone with information regarding the teen’s whereabouts should call the York County Sheriff’s Office at 207-324-1111.
