DANFORTH, Maine — A cement truck rolled over onto its side, trapping the driver inside, emergency dispatchers reported Thursday.
The accident occurred about 12:35 p.m. in the vicinity of 305 Greenland Cove Road on the outskirts of Danforth.
The driver was conscious and breathing, talking with authorities on a cell phone, but he was unable to get out of the truck, according to a dispatcher for the Washington County Regional Communications Center.
Police, fire and rescue personnel were responding to the scene.
