WINDSOR, Maine — Three people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a burglary at a Windsor sawmill last month, state police said.

Arrested in connection with the Aug. 25 incident were Jake Pillsbury, 23, of Jefferson, Coty Norton-Perry, 26, and Brandi Gray, 26, both of Pittson, according to state police spokesman Stephen McCausland.

Among the items stolen from the sawmill were boots, chain saws and money, with a total value of $4,000, according to McCausland.

Working with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, police were able to identify Pillsbury as a suspect, according to McCausland.

On Tuesday, a stolen van driven by Pillsbury was stopped along Route 27 in Pittson, and later that night, a mobile home where Norton-Perry and Grady reside was searched. McCausland said heroin and other drugs were located at the mobile home. An additional search of a property in Jefferson turned up a large amount of stolen property, including laptops stolen from a school in Massachusetts, McCausland said.

State police are working with Massachusetts authorities and additional charges are possible, according to McCausland.
